Lincoln Community Foundation Student Success Scholarship
The Lincoln Community Foundation Student Success Scholarship (LCFSSS) was established in 2023 for the purpose of pooling award amounts from other selected scholarship funds so that flexible, meaningful, and renewable awards could be made to Lancaster County students. The intent is that awards from this scholarship fund will help fulfill unmet financial need and promote college access and degree completion. Partner funds to the LCFSSS include: Ralph & Jean Cuca Scholarship Fund, Miriam Croft Moeller Citizenship Award Fund, Margaret & Max Pumphrey Scholarship Fund, Arnold H. White Memorial Scholarship Fund, Jennings B. & Beulah G. Haggerty Scholarship Fund, Jennie McDowell and Harlan Layton Scholarship Fund, Colleen Farrell Gerleman Scholarship Fund, and the Charles F. & Carol A. van Rossum Scholarship Fund.
To apply for the Lincoln Community Foundation Student Success Scholarship (LCFSSS), applicants should submit their general application, then click the “Apply” button beside the Lincoln Community Foundation Student Success Scholarship to answer a few additional questions. Recipients must be current graduating high school seniors or former graduates of public or private high schools in Lancaster County, NE or GED graduates residing in Lancaster County, NE; planning to attend an accredited, two-year or four-year nonprofit college or university with a preference for those attending institutions within the state of Nebraska. Financial need may be considered. This is a renewable scholarship; initial award amounts are up to $5,000 depending on a student’s financial aid package.
