Lincoln-Lancaster County Response Fund

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Response Fund is a partnership between the Lincoln Community Foundation and United Way of Lincoln & Lancaster County. It was established to make grants to nonprofit organizations in Lancaster County, Nebraska, impacted by funding cuts on the federal and state levels that support vulnerable populations.

Grants are only available to nonprofits providing services funded by federal/state dollars that are focused on the following:
• Childcare and childcare subsidy
• Housing and homelessness prevention
• Food insecurity
• Healthcare
• Victim safety
• Immigrants and refugees
• Domestic violence services
• Other (Please specify in application)

Eligibility: Based upon the charitable structure of the Fund, grants will be limited to 501c3 public charities, groups fiscally sponsored by such charities, or other charitable organizations able to receive tax-deductible contributions such as schools, faith-based organizations and other public entities. Such organizations must be serving residents of Lancaster County. The Fund will not support individuals or businesses directly, labor unions, or 501c4, 501c5 and 501c6 organizations.
