Dr. Jim and Betsy Bobenhouse Scholarship

The Dr. Jim and Betsy Bobenhouse Scholarship was established in 2026. Dr. Jim and Betsy Bobenhouse are Nebraska educated professionals in medicine and music education living in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jim is a graduate of UNMC and Betsy holds a Master of Music from the Glenn Korff School of Music at UNL. Jim and Betsy encourage high school graduates to study medical and education professions at Nebraska institutions of higher learning.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a graduating high school senior from a Lancaster County, Nebraska high school planning to attend a 4-year college or university in Nebraska. Students should have maintained a high school GPA of 3.0 or above . Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in the fields of education or healthcare, who are involved in extracurricular activities and/or community services, and who have demonstrated financial need.
