Pauline & Sanford Saunders Scholarship
The *Pauline and Sanford Saunders Scholarship *was established in 1990 by Alice Saunders as a way to remember her parents, Pauline and Sanford. Education then took Sanford in a different direction and he entered the field of civil engineering where he was involved in the construction of many bridges built across the interstate highway in Nebraska. Pauline grew up in Lincoln and was active in the arts and worked for an art studio prior to her marriage to Sanford.
