Robert W. & Shirley T. Hadfield Scholarship

The Robert W. and Shirley T. Hadfield Scholarship was established in 2006 to benefit graduating seniors from Lincoln High School and Norris High School. Robert and Shirley supported education and served as presidents of the PTA on the local and state levels. They were also active in the community and their church. Robert was a claims deputy for the Nebraska Department of Labor for 35 years, and Shirley was a secretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They raised two children in Lincoln, Carol McClain and Robin Hadfield, who both graduated from Lincoln High School. Their two grandchildren graduated from Norris High School.

To apply, you must be a current graduating senior at Norris High School in Firth, Nebraska or at Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska planning to attend a qualified two or four-year college or university in Nebraska. The applicant must demonstrate academic achievement while in high school, as well as demonstrate active involvement in school and community activities.
