All Opportunities

Welcome to the Lincoln Community Foundation Scholarship Opportunities Homepage.

If you are looking to apply for a grant, please click on “Grant” in the drop-down menu under the Opportunities tab.

The online scholarship application will open on December 15, 2025. Below you will find a listing of scholarships available to students along with brief information about each scholarship and its criteria.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. All users will need to set up a Blackbaud ID (BBID) if they haven’t already done so.

Returning applicants and Renewal recipients: If you have created an account in previous years, please click “Sign In” and click on the button “Continue with Blackbaud ID.” Follow the steps required for multi-factor authentication. Then you will be able to begin a new application for the current scholarship cycle. Renewal applications will not be available until February.
New applicants: If this is your first visit to this page, click “Sign Up” to begin and click on “Continue with Blackbaud ID” and follow the process for setting up an account and authentication. Scholarship applicants, when creating your account, please do NOT use your high school email address – use an address that you will check frequently and use in college. When setting up your account, you will receive a confirmation email with a code for verification. Each time you return to the site you will click “Sign In.”

A current transcript and the FAFSA submission summary that includes your SAI (Student Aid Index) are required for all applications. Official or unofficial (copies) of transcripts are acceptable.

IMPORTANT: After submitting your General Application, you will be automatically matched to those scholarships for which you are fully eligible. It is not necessary for you to review the entire list of scholarships below. After submitting your General Application, you will see tiles for these scholarships on the “My Applications” tab. Then, be sure to go to the Opportunities tab on your account to see additional “Recommended” scholarship opportunities for which you may be eligible but require answers to a few additional questions. These questions might include reference requests, brief essays, or other documentation. References will automatically receive a link to complete a reference form directly within the system. It is important to note that the deadline for references is the same as that of the application. It is also very important to apply well enough ahead of the deadline to allow references to respond! After submitting, these applications will also appear on the “My Applications” tab.
