All Opportunities
Welcome to the Lincoln Community Foundation Scholarship Opportunities Homepage.
If you are looking to apply for a grant, please click on “Grant” in the drop-down menu under the Opportunities tab.
The online scholarship application will open on December 15, 2023. Below you will find a listing of scholarships available to students along with brief information about each scholarship and its criteria.
PLEASE READ BEFORE CREATING AN ACCOUNT.
Returning applicants and Renewal recipients: If you have created an account in previous years, please click “Sign In” and enter your username (email) and password. Then you will be able to begin a new application for the current scholarship cycle. Renewal applications will not be available until February.
New applicants: If this is your first visit to this page, click “Sign Up” to begin. Scholarship applicants, when creating your account, please do NOT use your high school email address – use an address that you will check frequently and use in college. After you provide your email address as your username and create a password, click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the form. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link. Click on the link and then click “Apply.” Then you may begin your application form, save it and come back to it at any time to edit/update until the deadline. Each time you return to the site you will click “Sign In.”
A current transcript and the FAFSA submission summary that includes your SAI (Student Aid Index) are required for all applications. Because of the delayed release of the “Better FAFSA,” applicants may use and upload the estimated SAI value that is received after submitting their FAFSA. Official or unofficial (copies) of transcripts are acceptable.
IMPORTANT: After submitting your General Application, you will be automatically matched to those scholarships for which you are fully eligible. You will see tiles for these scholarships on the “My Applications” tab. After submitting your General Application, be sure to go to the Opportunities tab on your account to see additional “Recommended” scholarship opportunities for which you may be eligible but require answers to a few additional questions.
If you are a current scholarship recipient and have questions, please contact the Foundation at 402.474.2345 or email trishr@lcf.org.
