Marian Othmer Schultz Scholarship

The Marian Othmer Schultz Scholarship was established in 1995. During her life, Marian Othmer Schultz loved the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and dedicated her life to the institution in one capacity of another. A native of Omaha, Marian graduated from UNL in 1932. She spent 12 years as a full-time volunteer with the University of Nebraska State Museum. She had a keen interest in her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi and served as president of the University of Nebraska Faculty Women’s Club. She served on the Board of Governors for the Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial and was a board member of the Friends of Loren Eisley. Marian passed away in 1992 and established this scholarship to benefit members of her cherished sorority.
