Alfred & Esther Eggerling SCC-Milford Scholarship
The Eggerling-Southeast Community College-Milford Scholarship was established in 1993 by Alfred and Esther Eggerling. The Eggerlings devoted their lives to farming and to their children. They were modest people who enjoyed working the land and instilling solid values in their children. Natives of Seward County, Nebraska, Alfred and Esther were interested in gardening and were actively involved with Sheridan Lutheran Church. Alfred and Esther wished to give something back that they had reaped, so upon their deaths they established this scholarship to benefit students attending SCC-Milford in Milford, Nebraska.
To apply, you must be currently attending Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska and have successfully completed two or more quarters at SCC-Milford by April 1st, having maintained a 3.0 or greater GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
REQUIRED WITH APPLICATION: Southeast Community College-Milford transcript(s) (copies of transcripts are acceptable) and first page of your FAFSA Report.
